About Compass Physical Therapy

My story is a tale of resilience, passion, and the transformative power of physical therapy. As a former competitive gymnast, I've navigated the challenging journey from broken bones to reconstructive surgery, enduring both physical discomfort and emotional setbacks. Today, I stand as a survivor, driven by an unwavering commitment to guide my patients towards optimal health, wellness, and the ability to embrace life with a smile:)

My path led me to the University of Dayton, where I earned a B.S. in Education and Allied Professions. Following that, I pursued my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Ohio University. Since 2007, I've dedicated myself to the practice of physical therapy across various settings, touching the lives of countless patients. Along the way, I've achieved a Brain Injury Specialist Certification and assumed pivotal roles as the Director of Rehabilitation at multiple facilities.

Each step in my journey has illuminated the diverse medical and physical care needs of individuals from all walks of life. In 2023, I took the decisive leap forward and established Compass PT, firmly believing that my extensive education, work experience, and years of dedicated patient care had prepared me to provide unparalleled service.

Compass is driven by the prospect of guiding you or your loved one to a path of optimal outcomes in their rehab, recovery, wellness and fitness journey. This is not just what we do, but a mission we wholeheartedly embrace.

Warm regards,

Lauren
