Director of Compass Fitness

Coach Ben is a passionate fitness professional with over 6 years in the industry. With certifications in personal training, rowing, TRX, Kettlebells and nutrition, Ben specializes in functional and hybrid fitness. His experience competing in over 100 events from 5k runs to Obstacle Course Championships helps Ben work with a variety of clients to mentally and physically achieve whatever their fitness goals are.

Erin Shouse

Fitness Trainer & Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach

Coach Erin is both a fitness trainer as well as a Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach. She has been in the health and fitness industry for over a decade. Under the direction of former OSU Athletic Strength and Conditioning Coach, Andrew Winkler, Erin also has experience in strength and conditioning as well as athletic performance with clients from student athletes to elite athletes as well as everyday fitness levels.

Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant & Certified USSF Soccer Coach

Coach Jonathan has been a licensed physical therapist assistant and certified USSF soccer coach for 7 years, working in various settings as a therapist and currently serving as head coach at FC Dayton and assistant varsity coach for Kettering Fairmont women’s soccer. He is a certified Sportsmetrics specialist, combining his passions for rehab and athletics to help youth athletes become faster, stronger, and safer in their sport.

Alexis Ward

Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach & ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor

Coach Alexis is a Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach as well as ACE certified group fitness instructor. Since 2010, she has been a K-12 Physical Education and Health Teacher with a degree from Grandview University in Iowa. She began her active lifestyle through playing soccer as a child, continued to play competitively and still does today. Alexis’ favorite workouts involve speed, agility, and quick footwork, and of course through a bit of competition!
